This years National Titles held at Emu Park was very well represented by Noosa in the small craft and OC6 divisions.

Short Course – Sue Alvsaker & Nicola Cameron- 2nd female crew over line and SILVER in SMW OC2.
Mark Gravolin-4th in GMM
LONG COURSE– downwinder. Actually the Claytons downwinder!
Flea White & Paz Hegarty-2nd female crew over line and SILVER in MW OC2
Cath McKee & Manu Frank-3rd female crew over the line and GOLD in SMW OC2
Roslyn Richter-6th in SMW
Justin Richter – 20th in MM

Day 2 – OC6
Short Course
PW Combination crew racing for Noosa with our very own Di Arbuckle taking GOLD.
GMM Dinsey-5th over the line taking GOLD
GMM Oysten- taking 4th in GMM.
Long Course
SMW White- a huge effort placing 3rd overall and taking GOLD
SMW Kenny- a brilliant comeback taking 5th in SMW
MW Hegarty- 4th over line taking SILVER.
Amazing effort to these girls as 4 are still in their first year of paddling.
SMM Lenitschek-10th overall taking GOLD capping off a great season for the boys GMM Benstead- these men have been chasing Tweed all year and they got them taking GOLD.
What a great way to finish off for men’s Coach Des Mabbott. After many dedicated years of coaching, organising and a lot of hard work Des has resigned from his role as coach. Many thanks for all your efforts over the years and now for some time to relax into your paddling! Enjoy!
Day 3- OC6 mixed
Day 3 conditions were a lot more challenging than Day 2.
Noosa SMMX and GMMX taking 12th and 13th places over the line
SMMX Kenny taking SILVER
GMMX Rocco taking GOLD
GMMX Carroll taking 13th (and a swim).
What great results for our club capping off a very successful year!
